Discrete isolated supplies are expensive, complicated designs that take up valuable board space. The LTM2883 provides a simple, cost effective solution by providing users with three convenient adjustable isolated power rails. Each regulated output voltage can be adjusted with a single resistor. The figure here shows V_CC2, nominally 5V at up to 30mA, adjusted down to 3.3V; V+, nominally 12.5V at up to 20mA, adjusted down to 10V; and V-, nominally -12.5V at up to 20mA, adjusted up to -10V. The table shown on this slide provides the formulas that can be used to calculate the value of the resistor that would be placed from Ax to Vx. This adjustability makes the LTM2883 very flexible per the application.
