The LTM2883 is a 6-channel µModule® logic isolator that guards against large ground-to-ground differentials. The –S version isolates a digital or SPI bus, while the –I version isolates I²C bus. This highly integrated solution combines a 2,500V_RMS galvanic isolation barrier and all necessary power components into a compact, surface mount BGA package. The LTM2883 will be certified by UL, CSA and IEC. Absolutely no external components are required. In addition, the LTM2883 provides surplus current on the isolated power rails for powering external circuits. The ±12.5V and 3V to 5V isolated rails are perfect for industrial applications and powering data converters and amplifiers commonly used to process ±10V signals, and can be adjusted using an external resistor to accommodate a wide variety of applications.
