NextStream Connector System

The NextStream connector system from Molex offers next-generation data rates of up to 64 Gbps PAM-4 to meet the PCIe Generation 6 standard. This system meets the demands of data-intensive applications including AI, NVMe-EDSFF storage, CXL, UPI systems, and high-performance computing.

Defined by the SFF committee as standard SFF-TA-1035 for next-generation high-speed cable assemblies, the NextStream connector system can be upgraded to PCIe Generation 7 and is backward-compatible with PCIe Generations 4 and 5, as well as the SAS-4 standard. This connector system features a paddle card protection design that ensures excellent SI quality. Reliable performance is assured by material selection, contact distance, and a mechanical design that is optimized for high-volume production processes. The NextStream connector system is available in vertical, right-angle, and side-exit designs to provide design flexibility, with multiple options including 4x, 8x, 16x, vertical, and right-angle connectors.
