6th Generation 40 V/60 V MOSFETs

ROHM’s 6th generation 40 V/60 V MOSFETs utilize the latest precision processes for the Nch MOSFETs, following the recent release of the latest generation Pch MOSFETs, to ensure sufficient margin against voltage fluctuations by providing withstand voltages to support 24 V input required for motors used in industrial equipment and base stations, delivering higher speed switching and lower ON resistance to further improve the efficiency and miniaturization of motors.

ROHM provides superior dual Nch+Pch MOSFETs that deliver the ±40 V/±60 V withstand voltage required for 24 V input. The company also developed the +40 V/+60 V QH8Kxx/SH8Kxx (Nch+Nch) series to support a wider range of needs. ROHM offers 12 models in total of Nch+Pch and Nch+Nch MOSFETs.

The QH8Mx5/SH8Mx5 series utilizes original latest processes to achieve class-leading lower ON resistance, 61% lower than the Pch MOSFETs in dual MOSFETs products in the ±40 V class. This contributes to significantly lower power consumption in a variety of applications. Integrating two devices into a single package contributes to miniaturizing applications by reducing mounting area and decreasing the workload required for component selection (combining Nch and Pch).
