Phoenix Contact’s PLC21 safety coupling relays are the successor to the URM family of coupling relays. They are designed with a slimmer profile for applications where panel space is a concern.
The PLC21 relays are suitable for high- and low-demand applications up to Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL2) in accordance with IEC 61508 and Performance Level C (PLc) in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1. When interlinked with another PLC21, SIL3 and PLe applications can be realized.
