FMx Series Resistors

Isabellenhuette FMx resistors are an ideal solution for a variety of mass-market applications ranging from automotive (in-car chargers or assistance systems) to consumer white goods. These tiny flip-chip shunts feature a full-metal plate and bring ISA-PLAN excellence into a new resistance range (1 mOhms to 6 mOhms).

With the FMx shunt family, Isabellenhuette has filled a gap in the standard size range for precision resistances. It has not been possible with the previous product ranges to realize the usual S (2512), P (2010), and K (1206) standard sizes in the resistance range from 1 mOhm to 5 mOhm. Increasing demand for these resistances from a wide range of industries, including the automotive sector (for in-car chargers and assistance systems) and industry (for BLDC drive units), as well as the consumer market (e.g., for white goods), was the impetus for this development.

Despite the reduction in complexity, the FMx range still offers the same high-performance quality as the existing high-ohmic product family. This is ensured by the high-class, massive resistance material, good long-term stability, low-temperature coefficient, and low thermoelectric voltages, giving rise to good measurement resistance.
