Frameless Fans Series

Delta's frameless fans are available in blower, mixed-flow, and axial frameless models making them well-suited for a range of applications. As heat sources become smaller and more densely packaged, thermal-solution designers reduce weight and size wherever possible.

The frameless fan series offers the ability to integrate the fan into a complementary heat sink or housing design for maximum space-efficiency. Initial fan blade diameters range from 45 mm to 60 mm with speeds ranging from 2,900 rpm to 5,500 rpm. Despite their rotational speed and diminutive size, these fans run super quiet without traditional fan housing.

Applications include deploying Delta's axial frameless fan model in larger spaces, such as within a finned heat sink. The mixed-flow frameless fan model is well-suited for smaller spaces with less defined outgoing airflow such as thinner finned heat sinks that offer more external air access.

The blower, or centrifugal type, frameless fan models can be applied to small spaces that offer fixed outgoing airflow.
